Why? For the love of Jebus, why?
Haven't the movie biz realised that game-to-movie-movies do not work. Ever.
I don't care if you found Prince of Persia "enjoyable", or that the Resident Evil series is "an ok action film", and don't you dare start me on Hitman, or the horrendous Super Mario Bros, or the upcoming Legend Of Zelda. The fact is, no game adaptation remains faithful to the original medium (especially Resident Evil), and as surprising as it is, that's not the biggest problem.
We'll address the issue with the updated news regarding the Uncharted Movie. Firstly, Mark Wahlberg will be playing the role of Nathan Drake (Yeah, the guy from Max Payne, wasn't that a great film...), not our obvious choice, but then again, our obvious choice would be to not make a film!
Secondly, Uncharted, is actually made to feel like a cinematic experience, so, if the franchise needed a movie, why not cgi? The cut-scenes already looks amazing, we know the characters, it's a logical move.

So, in order for Uncharted the Movie to be successful, they need to make Indiana Jones. Bravo on the billions of pounds/dollars this will cost to make, when I already have Uncharted 2 and I can pick up the Indiana Jones boxset for £16.99.
