iPhone 5 to have 21Mbps HSPA+ data?

We know that Apple won't be unveiling its next superphone for a few more days, but China Unicom's Deputy Director Huang Wenlian was making a presentation at Macworld Asia, and stated that the new iPhone would utilize the company's HSPA+ 21Mbps network. Obviously this is all speculation at the present, but come next Tuesday (October 4) we'll find out.
